We realize that we have to work with the land, wildlife, water, community, and various other ecosystems so our goals are always to be Environmental Stewards Of The Land. Our cattle have to grow and convert on the lowest possible inputs so we focus on Forage Based Diets. And lastly, we need that that are Functional and Easy Keeping!

Yon Family Farms, a family-owned business, specializes in raising high-quality Angus, SimAngus, and Ultrablack cattle. Founded by Kevin and Lydia Yon, who met at Clemson University studying Animal Science, the farm started in 1996 in Ridge Spring, SC. Their three children, Sally, Drake, and Corbin, have grown up alongside the operation, which now spans over 5000 acres, supporting 1200 registered brood cows and 200 commercial cows. The farm hosts Spring and Fall Production Sales, offering around 425 registered bulls and 200 females annually. The Yons prioritize utilizing available tools and focus on providing top-notch cattle to their customer base, mainly progressive commercial cattlemen.
