About Frey Angus Ranch
Frey Angus Ranch had its beginning in the early 1950’s when it was initially started by Allen E. Frey, the late father of present owners and sons; Lynn, Arlen, and Edward Frey. The operation is located 4 ½ miles southwest of Granville, North Dakota.
The Black Angus cowherd consists of 300 females of breeding age originating from foundation females rich in Eileenmere and Western Canadian breeding.
2024 will be the 49th Annual Production Sale for Frey Angus Ranch scheduled for Sunday, February 4th. The ranch will be selling 125 Registered Yearling Bulls, 35 Registered Bred Heifers and 30 Commercial Bred Heifers at their ranch facilities.
In addition to being a reliable source of breeding cattle for a number of the areas’ top commercial cattlemen, the operation has exhibited numerous pen show champions of both breeds at the National Western and local livestock shows. Frey Angus Ranch also bred and exhibited the 2002 National Western Grand Champion bull, FAR Krugerrand 410H who was owned with Bruner Angus.
The 2022 calf crop consists of offspring sired by KR Quality 8525, Freys Undisputed, Freys True Grit, Freys Cowboy Logic, Freys Perfection, Freys Athlete, Car Don Annuity 114, Sitz Incentive 704H, Sitz Stellar 726D, GAR Home Town, Barstow Power On, and others.
The Freys welcome your visit at the ranch anytime and feel fortunate to share in the exciting times of the livestock industry.
