Wilde Angus Ranch is one of the largest Angus seedstock producers in Minnesota. Founded in the 1980’s, by Wayne Wilde and his family, the focus was and will remain on high quality, maternal cows. Many of the breed’s most influential cows were foundational cows of the Wilde herd, led by GDAR Forever Lady 98. Many of the existing cows are influenced by Ms. Fix It 4070, who produced 3 Pathfinder daughters led by Ms. Fix It 9084.

We are proud of the ranching traditions used at Wilde Angus Ranch on a daily basis. Cattle are handled the way they should be, quietly, with horses and dogs. They roam our pastures in the summer, and stay in the trees in the winter, which only lasts about 7 months a year. The only time they see the barn is in severe inclement weather, otherwise they do what performance cattle should do with great mothering ability.

We sell cattle each year across the upper Midwest, out west in Montana, Wyoming, California, down south in Texas and Oklahoma, and back East. We believe there isn’t a more difficult environment to raise cattle and that if the cattle can perform in the harsh elements of NW Minnesota, they can thrive anywhere.
